1. Purpose of SiSat

SiSat is a collaborative digital platform designed to support Schools, Teachers, Education Support (ES) staff, and approved education-related users by helping to improve day-to-day workflows, compliance, communication, and operational efficiency.

Users may create, upload, share, or store content including (but not limited to) documents, images, procedures, templates, training materials, and other resources that they would reasonably expect to be safe and appropriate within a school environment. SiSat is a hosting and facilitation service. While we do not actively monitor all content, we take trust and safety seriously.

2. User Responsibility

By using SiSat, all users agree to:

  • Act responsibly and professionally
  • Comply with all applicable laws and relevant departmental/school policies
  • Follow the SiSat Code of Conduct and Terms of Use
  • Ensure that any content uploaded/shared is appropriate for a school context
  • Ensure content does not breach privacy, confidentiality, or copyright obligations

Users remain solely responsible for the content they submit, upload, or share through the platform.

3. Prohibited and Restricted Content

Content may be objected to or removed if it includes, but is not limited to:

  • Material that is illegal, unlawful, or promotes unlawful activity
  • Content that breaches privacy, confidentiality, or data protection obligations
  • Copyright-infringing material uploaded without appropriate permission
  • Offensive, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or threatening content
  • Sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material for a school environment
  • Misinformation that may pose a safety, compliance, or operational risk
  • Content that does not meet applicable Government, Departmental, or School standards

4. Content Objection Process

If you believe content hosted on SiSat is inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable, you may submit a content objection by using the in-platform reporting tools (where available) or by contacting SiSat support.

Please include (where possible):

  • A clear description of the content
  • The reason for the objection
  • Any relevant context (e.g. policy, legal, or safety concerns)

5. Takedown and Enforcement

SiSat reserves the right to:

  • Remove, restrict, or disable access to any content at our sole discretion
  • Act immediately where content presents a risk to safety, legality, or compliance
  • Temporarily or permanently suspend user access for serious or repeated breaches
  • Retain copies of removed content where required for legal, compliance, or audit purposes

Takedown actions may occur with or without prior notice, particularly where urgent action is required.

6. No Endorsement of User Content

Content uploaded or shared by users does not represent endorsement, approval, or verification by SiSat. SiSat does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of user-generated content and accepts no liability for reliance placed on such content by other users.

7. Cooperation with Authorities

SiSat will cooperate with relevant authorities, departments, or regulators where required by law, including responding to lawful requests relating to content, access, or user activity.

8. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or platform use. Continued use of SiSat constitutes acceptance of the current version of this policy.
